Circus Wow at Fete of the Earth
Very happy to announce Circus WOW stilt walker will be performing at our Festival. Half High Circus will also be on stage at 1pm. Watch this space for stilt walker times.

Mind boggling Dinosaur Petting Zoo is coming to Thirroul for Fete of the Earth. The show from Erth Visual & Physical Inc has kids pet and feed the baby dinosaurs, even get up close to an adolescent raptor!Dinosaur Petting Zoo will have 2 free shows on our main stage. At Fete of the Earth: the Illawarra's Science and Eco Festival for Kids

The Science Trail returns in 2008 with hands on experiments in the Discovery room, the Meet the Scientist Program and our exclusive workshops for small groups.

The Science Trail returns in 2008 with hands on experiments in the Discovery room, the Meet the Scientist Program and our exclusive workshops for small groups.
This years workshops:
Close Encounters with Frogs -in depth, hands on encounter with these remarkable creatures in this The Year of the Frog.
Close Encounters with Crocodiles -if reptiles are your thing come along to this hands on workshop with the scalies.
Build your own Solar Powered Toy Boat - with Futureworld. You will take home your own solar powered toy.
Maparama - go geo, get bush sense - all about compasses and maps. Presented by NPWS Ranger Jamie Erskine.
Ridgy Didge- all about didgeridoo with NPWS Ranger Peter Button.
Worm Farming & Composting -with Glengarry Cottage.
Extract your own DNA - with CSIRO scientist.
Young children will also love the Bubbles and Aquaplay zone and our Art Rocks! craft activities.
We'll have rides and all the traditional fun of a fete but with the all day entertainment of a Festival. Remember we carbon offset the diesel used on rides by providing a native plant free with every rides pass.
2008 Science Trail Stalls section includes Futureworld, Zuma Bikes, National Parks & Wildlife, Glengarry Cottage, Sea Bird Rescue, NSW Fisheries and more.
